" Hi Karen
I have a photo of my girlfriend, me and our wee Frenchie that I would love to have done in coloured pencil in time for Christmas. Is that doable ? "

Diarmid emailed me asking if I could create a portrait of himself, his partner Max and their little French Bulldog Kyla, for a gift to Max for Christmas.
Reference image:
The reference photo was taken in Pennan (Aberdeenshire in Scotland). The couple were stood in front of the famous red phone box which was made famous in the film 'Local Hero' and although it was decided that the phone box would not be included, due to the composition size chosen, showed so little of the phone box, it was suggested and accepted that writing 'Pennan' on the drawing would be sufficient.​
