ABOUT THE PAINTING:

Weasel on rocks, Newbiggin by the sea, Northumberland, UK

Weasels are widespread in the UK, except in Northern Ireland. They are the UK's smallest carnivore and although they look sweet, their diet consists of voles, mice and small birds. This Weasel was seen running in and out rocks on the beach of Newbiggin by the sea, allowing my partner John, to capture a collection of images, one of which was chosen for this painting.
