Bespoke Frames for Acrylic Paintings

When you commission me to create a custom portrait for you, I understand the importance of choosing the right frame to complement the painting. I provide a comprehensive framing service for my acrylic portraits to ensure a perfect match. I have carefully curated a selection of high-quality frames, some of which are sustainably sourced and certified by FSC or PEFC. As the frame cost can vary, requesting a quote for the frame when placing your painting order is recommended. Rest assured, I am committed to delivering the best possible service and finding the ideal frame to meet your preferences.

Each frame sample* is labelled with a distinct price category, starting with Price 1 for the most economical choice, and progressing through to Price 8 for the premium selections. As frame prices fluctuate regularly, I do not list fixed costs. Please request a quotation before placing an order or during the painting process. If you have any particular requirements, please do not hesitate to specify.

SILVER & PEWTER MOULDINGS

GOLD, BRONZE AND COPPER MOULDINGS

Many renowned works of art have been framed in gold, connecting your artwork to a long-standing artistic tradition. When selecting a gold frame, you are not simply framing art; you are adding a touch of grandeur and elegance. Similarly, bronze frames exude sophistication with their earthy tone, adding warmth and depth to your artwork. Bronze frames work well with both traditional and contemporary pieces, providing a versatile option for framing.

WOOD EFFECT MOULDINGS

​Wood frames provide a warm, organic feel. The visible grain, whether stained or natural, adds character and complements various art styles. Unfinished or tight-grain wood suits traditional homes, while open-grain wood pairs well with rustic or farmhouse interiors. Wood frames adapt seamlessly with vibrant paintings. DARK TONES & BLACK MOULDINGS

WHITE, NATURAL AND IVORY MOULDINGS

White and ivory frames bring a classic touch of elegance to any room, effortlessly blending in with a variety of decor styles. Their simple design allows the artwork to take center stage without any distractions. White frames have the added bonus of brightening up a space and creating a fresh, airy atmosphere. Both white and ivory frames create a soft contrast against darker walls or colourful artwork, drawing attention to the painting and enhancing its beauty. Black and white artwork looks especially stunning in a white frame. 
Standard and deep canvas information
We are pleased to offer our portrait services with the standard 3mm board. If you prefer the 22mm board, please note that it is usually not framed. However, if you would like it framed, we are happy to provide you with a price. Just let us know, and we'll take care of the rest.

Standard glass and Acrylic glass
After completing an acrylic painting, it is usually varnished and does not need glass. However, if the artwork is displayed in a high-traffic area or for extra protection, you can request that glass be added. Please get in touch for more information.
