Karen M Berisford retains the Copyright of all Artworks produced and may be reproduced by the Artist for advertising purposes.

Any photographs you wish Karen to work from must have permission from the photographer, either professional or Amateur, before commencement of the Artwork. Should you choose any of Karen M Berisford's own photographs, the Copyright of the original photograph and Artwork remains with Karen M Berisford and must not be reproduced for your own monetary gains, however Karen M Berisford may choose to reproduce the Artwork as prints for sale.

Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited other than the following:

• you may print or download to a local hard disk extracts for your personal and non-commercial use only
• you may copy the content to individual third parties for their personal use, but only if you acknowledge the website as the source of the material

You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. Nor may you transmit it or store it in any other website or other form of electronic retrieval system.

A minimum of 30% payment is required on booking the commission, followed by a further 30% on commencement of the commission. Outstanding balances should be paid upon completion of the piece, before the item is mailed out.

Each piece is subject to Postage and packaging charges and covers any loss or damages in transit. Each package will be sent with a tracking number for you to keep updated with the delivery progress. 

Please make sure you check your package and item for damage before signing for the Goods as this may invalidate a claim should the item be found damaged after signing as undamaged goods received.

 All items should be received within a week of posting (UK) however, should there be any delays, please contact the delivery company giving the tracking number supplied in an E-mail from Karen herself pre post.

Should you receive your item damaged in any way, please inform Karen M Berisford and contact the delivery company to file a claim for damages. 
If the Artwork is unrepairable, Karen will replace the Artwork for a new piece at the same cost as before. Please note: loss or damages caused by the delivery company is the responsibility of the company itself and bears no representation on Karen M Berisford, nor will she replace any Artworks at a reduced cost unless part of the fault lies with Karen M Berisford.
Glass in frames for framed Artworks are NOT covered by any type of insurance with delivery companies and Artworks are framed at the owners own risk.  Each piece will be packaged extremely well but may incur higher postage charges. Please ask for details if you wish your piece to be framed.

Each commission will need to be approved by yourself on completion. A proof copy is sent to you via E-mail before posting. If there are any problems or the Artwork requires any changes, they must be stated BEFORE the item is posted out as once the piece is received by yourselves, any changes you require, the Artwork must be sent back to Karen (postage costs of the Artwork to Karen and return postage to you will be your responsibility and costs will not be covered by Karen herself).

If, on receipt of your commission,you no longer require the piece, you must return it to Karen in the original packaging it came. (return delivery charges will not be covered by Karen M Berisford) 60% of the payment will be retained by Karen M Berisford due to the time and effort put in and 40% of the payment (less original postage) will be refunded to you.  This piece may be resold at the Artists descretion.
