This piece was done as a surprise gift to my friend who had lost her father a month ago and her mum in 2004. I knew she would not have a very nice Christmas and so wanted to give her something in memory of her parents. Her husband sent me a couple of seperate photographs through of my friend, Tracie's, parents that had been taken on their daughters wedding day in the '90's and I made a mock picture to work from. The background was a photograph I had captured at Chatsworth house a year ago and I thought it would be the perfect back drop to complete the whole piece.

My family commissioned Karen to paint my very special dog, Dallas, for my 50th birthday.
I received the Artwork of Dallas yesterday for my Birthday and i just wanted to say WOW!!! Totally amazing.
