Acrylic paintings On Board
Vibrant, Textured, Bold, Fun!
Acrylics are a fascinating medium to work with as they can be mixed with various mediums and manipulated using brushes, palette knives and other tools to create a vibrant and textured finish that is truly one of a kind.
I work with a heavy body professional range that offers excellent brilliance of colour, high levels of pigment strength, opacity and permanence. They are archival and are lightfast which ensures longevity in every painting. To be able to create the fine level of detail I favour, I use a smooth surface Gessobord which allows me to build up layers using a 'Wet in Wet' technique and every single hair, line and small detail is placed individually for great effect meaning each painting I create is individual. If you wish to find out more about the products I use, you can visit my GREEN ARTIST product page.

What are the differences between the 3mm and the 22mm Board?
The 3mm board is the standard board used and ideal for those who prefer to have their painting framed. The 22mm option offers a contemporary finish as it can be hung immediately without the need for framing with the edges painted for protection, you can however choose to have it framed at a later date should you wish. To ensure your painting is safely and correctly framed using archival products, it should always be framed by a professional framer or you can opt to have your painting framed by myself. You can see the mouldings/frame examples available on our FRAMING page.
